Abseil accident during Army exhibition days, Wezep

At 2 June 2007 a demonstration for abseiling from a helicopter was given during the Army exibition days. During this demonstration four soldiers decesended from a Lynx helicopter. Three of them cleared themselves of their lines by arrival on the ground. The fourth soldier was in the process of clearing when the helicopter took of while the soldier was still attached to the helicopter. The soldier died shortly thereafter.
