  • Dutch Safety Board issues preliminary report crash Turkish Airlines

According to international agreements and guidelines of the International Civil Aviation Organization)the Dutch Safety Board, under chairmanship of prof Pieter van Vollenhoven, issues a preliminary report about of a Boeing 737-800 of Turkish Airlines that crashed shortly before landing near the Polderbaan of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 25 February 2009.This preliminary report contains facts which have been determined up to the time of publication. This information concerns the circumstances surrounding this accident and must necessarily be regarded as tentative and subject to alteration or correction if additional information becomes available.
