When the glider pilot flew in the direction of the airfield traffic pattern, which is situated north of Teuge Airport, the climbing Cessna 208B (with parachutists on board), approached the glider on a collision course. The glider pilot stated that he put down the nose of the glider to avoid a collision. The pilot of the Cessna 208B stated he had not seen the glider. The vertical separation between the aircraft and the glider was about 20 metres when they passed each other, according to the glider pilot. Both flights were continued.
