Crew member overboard while disconnecting container lashings, 3 September 2014

At 3 September 2014 a crew member of the Dutch registered container vessel Freya fell overboard while sailing on the river Humber towards Immingham, United Kingdom. The crewmember concerning was disconnecting container lashings prior arrival. Straight after the accident a rescue operation was started with the assistance of several vessels in the vicinity without result.
