Fire in a CNG bus, 29 October 2012

The Dutch Safety Board had started an investigation into the passenger bus that was completely destroyed by a fire in Wassenaar, Monday 29 Ocober 2012. The bus ran on natural gas and during the fire horizontal flames 15 to 20 metres in length shot up from the natural gas that had been released. The Board focussed on the requirements made at these types of busses and how the safety risks are managed in the Netherlands.
