Near miss between two aircraft during taxi
The serious incident was caused because the crew of the aircraft that had to give priority did not notice the other aircraft in time. Next to the limitations of visual observation during darkness various factors played a role. It is preferable to repeat stop instructions and continue to stay in touch with the crews, until they have a clear picture of the situation and the possibility of making mistakes is reduced.
