Analysis

On the basis of the collected material and the account of the facts, the investigators conduct an analysis of the circumstances leading up to the incident and the underlying causes. They determine precisely what happened, how it could have happened and which factors played a role in the incident.

In order to do so in a structured way, they use investigative techniques such as the timeline analysis, the Tripod model, the BowTie method and STAMP.
