Hatch cover crane entrapment, 9 June 2015

On 9 June 2015, a crew member on board the, Dutch registered, ship Beauforce lost his life due to crushing under the gantry crane. The ship was at anchor awaiting passage through the Panama canal. In order to make the cargo hold ready for a new load at the next port, tweendecks were moved with the aid of the gantry crane.
