After experiencing problems with the brake system during landing on runway 06 the crew activated the emergency brake system whereupon the aircraft veered to the right and left the runway with the right main landing gear (MLG). The right MLG collapsed and lodged itself in the wing. The aircraft came to a standstill on runway 18L/36R.
19 January 2011:
At the moment the investigation is in the final stage. In accordance with the Dutch Safety Board Act a draft report will soon be submitted for inspection of factual inaccuracies to the parties directly involved. The final report will be published about April 2011.
