Description of route
Public transport
The best way to travel to the Dutch Safety Board is by public transport. Our office can be reached via train station Laan van NOI in Den Haag. Leaving the station at the side facing the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, turn right in the direction of the Laan van Nieuw Oost-IndiĆ«. Crossing this lane at the pedestrian crossing, continue straight along up the stairs of the NWO building and down the stairs on the other side. You are now on the Anna van Saksenlaan. Number 50 is the last building on the left. It’s a five-minute walk from the train station.
The station Laan van NOI can also be reached with tram line 2 (destination Leidschendam), RanstadRail 3 (destination Zoetermeer Centrum-West) and RandstadRail 4 (destination Zoetermeer), which all depart from Den Haag Central Station.
By car
From the directions of Amsterdam (A4), Rotterdam (A13) and Utrecht (A12), head towards Den Haag via the traffic junction Prins Clausplein and follow exit 3: Den Haag, Bezuidenhout, Mariahoeve. At the traffic lights, turn right onto the Schenkkade and follow this road until you see a petrol station on a corner on your right. Continue straight on, and the first street to the right at the T-junction is the Anna van Saksenlaan. Number 50 is the last building on the left. There are parking spaces in the basement.
From Amsterdam (the A 44/N 44) to Den Haag, turn left at the ANWB-sign to Voorburg/Leidschendam, which brings you onto the Laan van Nieuw Oost-IndiĆ«. Follow this road for about 1.5 km. Before reaching the train viaduct, you’ll see a petrol station to your right and the NWO building to your left. Turn left just before the NWO building, and the first street to the right at the T-junction is the Anna van Saksenlaan. Number 50 is the last building on the left.
